Moderator cut: graphic warning regarding the link
A man was mauled to death by a wounded bear this week when he foolishly tried to take a photograph alongside the apex predator — the third wild animal-related selfie fatality in this region of India in less than a year, according to reports.

I just can't believe that no one tried to help him. They were near a forest and could have gotten branches and trunks to beat that bear off. Instead, all they did was stand around yelling. At least the dog tried to help.

I remember a story about parents at a national park trying to put their kid up on the shoulders of a mama bear so they could take a picture of it.

"They wouldn't put bears here if they weren't safe ..."

Nice that the guy got help from all those people nearby.

Idiots all over the world.

Wish those child rapists in India would meet the same fate though...
