He would slowly emerge back from the brush by the creek.

Now, my trail cam showed 13 racoons one night all at once eating corn !

Love seeing deer........wish the squirrels and racoons would leave.
Feeding wildlife can cause problems. The worst case is having to destroy the animal(s). Morons who feed alligators are an example. Once the gator(s) associate humans with food (only takes one feeding) they have to be destroyed to prevent problems in the future.

Waking this thread up because we've been making some video compilations from our Wildlife Camera to share to facebook... figured I should share them here also.

This week we got several cute videos of Momma Does with their spotty fawns, one bear, and a couple of Barred Owls.

https://youtu.be/y-tnawJNSHw

Here's the compilation prior... we got our camera fogged up by a curious bear.

Anyway.... hope you enjoy them!

I have been seeing deer and a hummingbird destroyer racoon. I am thinking of moving it closer to where I saw two big bucks from my bedroom window. The camera is currently mounted on my deck.

We moved ours around a couple times until we found the spot with the best traffic.

I put some corn out to entice the deer and moved my camera closer yesterday. Nothing has found the corn yet even though this location is where I see the deer the most.

Nature watching is a patience game. Our camera is set up in what we think is a very high traffic area where there is a bridge over a small creek... But even so we don’t always get traffic every day. We go down and check it every week or two. These pictures and videos have been taken over periods of weeks or months.

Huh. Tried to post a picture from my Flickr account of a golden bunny in my yard that I took today.

What did I do wrong?

I am not sure! But my problem has often been that the image is too big. Even our phone camera images are bigger than the forum limitations unless you save them smaller. On the upload popup that comes up... read carefully any error message you get there.

My experiment with corn to attract the deer failed due to the crows eating the corn first.

Well this worked after all. This week I had a lot of deer eating more corn that I put out. I have several video's of two huge bucks where both of them where at least an 8 point.
