I was with two other folks travelling from Miles City Montana to the big, big town of Baker, MT last month. I was the driver.
I was cruising around 75mph when the guy in the passenger seat yelled out- "Albino!". I found a place to turn around went past where he saw the albino, then turned back and slowly drove up. We witnessed something incredible!
The doe was laying down again along with the albino fawn and another fawn. We watched them for a minute then the doe stood up with afterbirth in her mouth and she just dropped fawn#3!!
It's rare for a doe to have triplets, and obviously rare, rare, rare to have triplets and one of them an albino!
The gal in the car that took the pics sent them to a friend that worked at Fish Wildlife and Parks, and then it hit the news- even went into national feeds..
Three and an albino is amazing! I've never heard of anyone seeing that before. An albino is pretty rare, and three certainly isn't common. I would have preferred a mega lottery win, but the deer would have been good enough.
What's even funnier, is when I saw "gives birth to rare triplets" and "1Angrytaxpayer" combination, guess what crossed my mind right away, what kind of comment I was about to see...))))
