Not to bad but this critter is a bit spindly and skinny for my likins'. I much prefer a good stout Quarter Horse. But I was born and raised working cattle sooo. I believe this could be a hot debate with so many various favorites out there. A good horse is hard to beat in my eyes.

John Wayne in Rooster Cogburn summed it up for me when Katherine Hepburn got contrary with him. "Women! Aint one half as reliable as a horse!" LMAO, no offense to the ladies as I hold women very dear, but that quip still makes me roll.

I really like and feel a connection with all animals but I especially love birds. There are so many species of birds that I'd find it impossible to pick only one species as a favourite of mine. I have many favourites. There are several animals on the poll listed that some people might dislike or fear or at least feel indifferent about. But how can anyone not like birds unless they suffer from Ornithophobia (fear of birds)? I suspect that the one species of birds that gets picked most often as the most favourite of many people would be birds in the hummingbird family.

The title of the thread is misleading. I voted for which animal I thought was most popular on a global basis, not my personal favorite. But I love all animals anyhow

What?

Maybe you misread NVplumber's post and that caused your knee-jerk reaction???

NVplumber never said a single thing about the colour of that horse. He said that horse was a bit too spindly and skinny for his liking and that he preferred a stout quarterhorse. I agree with him, he's right that it looks far too skinny and spindly, rather weak and sickly. A stouter and more muscled horse would look much healthier and stronger - regardless of its colour.

Certainly it's a beautiful champagne colour and its coat is glossy but the poor thing looks positively anorexic, fragile and like it's dying from starvation. Looks like it's so weak if you looked at it the wrong way and blew a puff of air on it then it might topple over and shatter into pieces like broken glass.

I do like that gorgeous champagne colour though.
