Doesn't surprise me. Loons don't do anything half-heartedly. Personally, given the choice between wrestling with a loon or an eagle, I'd pick the eagle!

Well, partly. "Loony" was also derived from "lunatic"...someone who's crazy behavior was influenced by phases of the moon.

Is this an anthropomorphic loon from straight out of Duck Tales, and has hands with opposable thumbs and can make shanks from litter it finds on the floor or something?

What is it going to stab with?

You've never seen a pic of a loon? That beak, brandished by a big, powerfully-muscled bird is quite a weapon!
