Can moose's attack people? Like one time when the dog musher, Susan Butcher and her dogs were attacked by a crazed moose on the trail during the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race in 1985. The moose was also pregnant.

If they feel threatened, of course they can attack. Most of the time they will just run away if they are startled but you never know. They are huge, strong animals and people should leave them alone. Anyone who is dumb enough to walk up to a wild moose and try to touch it or feed it deserves what he gets.

By the way, there is no such word as "mooses." One moose, two moose.

Boy can they! BTDT!!!! The reason why one might varies depending on season. In fall, the bulls are hormone-mad and just plain surly and intolerant so you avoid them then. In winter, they're all under stress, preoccupied by calories, and not feeling very sociable so you avoid them then. In spring, the cows are pregnant or are raising calves all summer, so they're feeling more vulnerable and protective so you avoid them then. In other words, keep it simple. AVOID MESSING WITH MOOSE all year long!

I've never visited Alaska, but from what I've read, moose are more feared by the locals than bears.

Yes, estrogen laden anything can be dangerous. That estrogen stuff is powerful stuff, indeed.

Cows with calves
Bulls especially during breeding

Like most large animals, these are times to keep a healthy distance (which one should do always)

In July 1973 I was on a teen tour in Grand Teton National Park, the Lake Rendezvous Trail. I got about 10 yards of the trail to shoot a picture of browsing moose. One of the counselors/tour leaders grabbed me from behind to pull me back to the trail.

They can and they will. A few people have even been stomped to death by a moose. Although, most fatalities caused by a moose are when someone smacks one with their car. They have long legs and in a collision, often the body of the moose ends up going through the windshield. Not good.
