I wouldn't miss mosquitos or ticks, but I suppose disease vectors are quite important to the balance of Mother Nature. So maybe just get rid of the ticks and keep the mosquitoes.

Yeah they are so gross, especially when there's a colony of them. I can't stand when people feed them... like why do you want those gross things near you?

Chihuahuas! Ok, I could get on board with this. And it's not like getting rid of real dogs.

Maine as well. I live with them on my land, in my backyard, occasionally on my back porch. They're not a big deal as long as humans are responsible and respectful.

SLUGS!!! Then I could actually walk down the sidewalk, barefoot, after dark, and not have to worry about stepping on one of those slimy things! Feels like it takes forever to get that stuff off the bottom of the feet.

I used to feel that way. Always felt chihuahuas started barking, non stop, about 2 weeks before they were born and didn't quit barking till a month after they died. But we have one and she's a keeper. Just barks along with our dachshund to make up for the doorbell being broken. And it didn't take her long to train my wife and I.

Although I do know that biting insects serve a purpose, I truly do HATE them.
I guess few people know mosquitoes are primarily pollinators. Male mosquitoes don't bite at all and females bite because they need some protein so they can produce offspring.
I realize that's little comfort for someone who has malaria or is swarmed by them when going outside.

If it was up to me, I would extinct the Mountain Tapir. They are disgusting creatures, devoid of any redeeming qualities, difficult to ride and boring to hang out with.

Boo! Mountain Tapirs!
