Of course you will mock, but I ask you to answer seriously this simple question with only 2 or 3 points in summary.
1. A book written about 1400 years ago by a pedophile.
2. Clothes are to protect us from the elements, modesty is secondary.

I may be a person of faith by I am also a man of science.

Ok Trackwatch...there's no need to insult the mans religion...

I'm not a practicing muslim...but none the less, I would never insult the leader of anyone elses religion...

That was mean....

They have made some valid points...and they 'love' or 'serve' Allah....so what....

Why so much pride...?

I'd rather have people into science, and debating over scientific data, than on the streets fighting...

I think eanassir should be commended for holding onto his faith, and incorporating science into it...

I mean it's not hurting no one...

And eanassir, has never personally insulted anyone...he's only shared what he believes to be correct...

So lighten up a bit guy...he's not attacking you personally, or anyone else...he's just sharing stuff...information is good...

People can discern on their own if it's right or wrong...

Good gracious, is it 2012 yet?

All these fireworks around here are making me nervious...

Didn't say anything about his religion, He asked me what I knew about the Qur'an.
I was commenting on the man that wrote the Qur'an, what would YOU call an adult male that takes a 9 year old girl as a wife?
He is bending science to fit what he wants it to mean.

Trackwatch...as a scientist...I expect you to have more sense than that...

18 is the legal age in America, in past societies, there was no set 'legal' age...even early on in this country....

If we start judging everything from yester year, by todays standards, all of yester years standards could seem real messed up...

America wasn't even a thought back then...so to judge what went on back then, by our legal system of today, is...well...hitting below the belt...

Onto more noble things now...

Do you ever stop and consider what he's saying, suggesting? before you just automatically tell them all their theories are wrong?

I've heard very similuar things he says, debated and or repeated by so called main stream scientist....

When you stop listening, when you stop considering, you stop learning...

Have you learned everything there is to know under the sun?

Sorry, I'm sentimental....

Happy New Year everyone...

It sounds like a war zone where I'm at...I think half the pops and bangs I hear are truly guns...

Ok, time to duck...
