Phoebe's latest clutch has hatched!

Hummingbird Nest Cam, Ustream.TV: Phoebe is a Channel Island Allen (S.s. sedentarius) hummingbird in Orange County, California. She has been laying 4 to 5 ...

Bea was born on the 18th, Jay hatched this morning. (Yes, Bea and Jay. )

It's so odd. Yesterday, I bought a little air-freshener for my car. It's a hummingbird. I thought about Phoebe, so I went over to the cam this morning and learned about Bea and Jay.

So then I logged on to my FB to see that a friend overseas posted a link on my wall to a series of photos of a hummingbird nest.

Hmmmm... I'm getting new business cards. Maybe my logo should incorporate a hummingbird somehow!

Very cool!

A friend of mine got a webcam set up over a Great Crested Fly Catcher nest that has been on her porch for years. She's named her Audrey. Cornell Univ found out about it and added it to their site. Photos and video clips from last year's clutch. Waiting for their return this year.
