If you go by sheer volume of words, I don't know how you can conclude that I've blown up "one part" of the reply post, when that post was endless and preachy and repetitive. The fact that I brought attention to it, for some reason, makes me the problem.

It is not possible to answer the OPs questions without more info.
ie rent, there is a large range of rent prices depending on what you want
and where you want it.
As for jobs without any reference to the OPs job history or desired job,
again no way to answer.

So SCGranny was giving the OP an education on what really needs to be done before relocating.
