Any suggestions for safe condominiums near the old market? We are looking for a condo for our daughter near the old market/Creighton area and have noted that some places seem a little less than safe for a young woman. We looked at the SoMa row houses, but were concerned with water drainage from the flat roofs. The Ford Building seemed okay, but a little dark. Anyone know about Dunseny (sp) Flats condos south of the old Market near the Post Office? This is in the north part of the "little Italy" area. The places seem very nice, but I do not know about the neighborhood. Anyone know about this area just south of the railroad tracks on 10th street just south of the old Market? Thanks!

Not that you won't get answers here for your question, but copy the text and post it in the Omaha forum. You'll get more replies there. I'm glad they revitalized the area, even though it was not really bad.
You can get good pasta lunches at Sons Of Italy Hall, and other good food within the area.
