We live in Omaha, and are looking for other people/families who enjoy camping. Are there any camping clubs around here?

My wife and I are new to camping and live in nebraska city, we started camping last year with a new starcraft 18.5 foot travel trailer, and really enjoyed our trips to Louisville SRA, we don't travel too far from home and typically camp Thursday thru Sunday, we have two dogs who come along and are very well behaved. we are looking forward to another season and would enjoy meeting other Older Campers in their 50's-60's who would enjoy sharing the camping experience.

I really think you would find comaraderie in camping interests as well as nice landscape and facilities at Harlan Reservoir. Check out Patterson Harbor (Marina, swimming beach, concessions, fun Beach Bar) on the south side of the dam at Rep. City, and Hunters' Cove, on the North.

Loners on Wheels might have something for single RVers. This is a national club but I believe they have regional chapters...
