Family of 4 searching western NE for MALE and STEADY blue-collar employment opportunities, GOOD high school that does NOT require "try-outs" for high school football team for junior student, EXCELLANT mental health providers, facilities, and organizations for 19 yo daughter as needed, 2 bedroom house with basement where a 3rd bedroom could be OR a 3 bedroom house [or trailer or apartment(if we MUST)] that will accept 2 cats that is not incredibly exspensive (thinking around $500/mth or so), has things to do and places to go...you know, ACTIVITIES that won't break the bank!...for the teens alone and also for the family together.
One more REQUIREMENT..... where people DON'T know every time you use the bathroom.....so to speak, lol.
Kinda like the sound of Alliance and Scottsbluff and Ogallala, but can anyone fill in these gaps??
Also, concerned about just the "normal" cost of living.....monthly bills, food, what-not.

Of those three communities, Scottsbluff/Gering would probably be your best choice. Not many job opportunities in Ogallala. Alliance is mostly likely BNSF. Scottsbluff/Gering would have your best mental health providers. Gering has a very nice school system, but not sure how competitive sports slots are.
