Dying Hamlet of Rulo (Falls City, Sargent: 2013, houses, live in)

Obviously the replies will be subjective opinions.

In a nutshell... Rulo, Nebraska has steadily decreased in size over the years. Is this due only to the displacement of small farms by larger ones that are gobbling up the small?

Are there other reasons for the steady population decline?

Could promoting outdoor activities assist in drawing in tourists?

Any comments, opinions, ideas, whatever welcomed.... even those declaring "What the heck is a Rulo?"

What a bunch of BS, a large KKK presence????? I have lived and conducted business in the Falls City / Rulo area for nearly 50 years. This idiotic comment is the first time I have ever heard that there is a KKK presence here.

Does the KKK usually have a large presence in small midwestern agricultural areas, that are nearly 97% white, and have historically been above 95% white? What do they do here? Why do they exist? Really man believe what you want to believe about your town, you seem a little out of touch about things around you. People who live in glass houses.

I have traveled across this state and in profession you meet a lot of people. Most folks will drop the bomb about their neighbors to a stranger. It is human nature to gossip and everyone does it.

I met and know the fellas I am talking about on here. If think I am going to spill the beans about them to you your crazy.

I have worked about 56 counties in the state over the last 12 years. Richardson county has the most Redneck, backwards, Racist, and ignorant people I have met.
