Default inavale population 58!!

i saw it on a the internet-looked up data it said population was 118-now i was told its 58-yes a very small town-but that is what i m looking for small, peacful town-i dont drink, dont go to clubs, getting older-love to explore places-dont like a bunch of people running around so a tiny town sounds great to me cept for having to go long distant to get food and stuff-and no jobs and 1000+miles away!!so i will probably never make it there,lol-anyone know of this place?near the kansas border i think.

Well it would be a good idea to find a job first or contact some employers because it may be difficult unless you are flexible, there are not a ton of jobs in the area and what jobs there are may mostly be filled. That said if you could find one in Red Cloud (8 miles away) or Franklin (15 miles away) that would not be a bad commute. Grocery stores are in Red Cloud or Franklin so it is not a long distance to get food. If there are goods you need to get that you can't find in either two towns (usually the typical pots, pans, appliances) you may need to go to Hastings (47 miles) or Kearney (64 miles) but living in Inavale you would likely go to Hastings. I'm from Franklin which is about 15 miles west of Inavale so I would love to give you more information but am not as familiar about it so I'm going to ask some friends and then get back to you in a day or two. This part of Nebraska (the Republican River Valley) is beautiful and very peaceful so I think you would enjoy it! That being said I don't think it is ever a good idea to move somewhere unless you have a job lined up, Nebraskans are very straightforward if there is an opening there is an opening if there is not theres not and most are very polite and respectful so would be very helpful in helping you find employment in the area and easy to talk to during your employment search.

Usually you can find a house for sale. Unfortunately we seem to have a shortage of rentals down here but one would be able to find out from asking around town or inquiring from their future employer who might have heard of an opening as most rentals here are "word of mouth".

yes i know i sure would need a job but am also concerned about the winters i know it snows there-but does it snow alot-deep snow and stay on the ground for a long time-months???its a real treat when we get a rare snow fall and you can go out in it bare footed and it melts in a hour or so-we did have a good one last year a inch or two for a few days-but dammmm its hot now!!
