If a person can spend a little more time and drive through the back roads of the state you’ll see many interesting things. The travel in the sandhills area of northern Nebr are some very special with interesting views as you’re driving. On a trip through Nebraska City you can visit Arbor Lodge and John Browns Cave.

While driving on I-80 some people enjoy counting the highway mile markers as they pass through the state.

Better to see some kind of vegetation/cropland, than nothing at all.....like Nevada.
Actually, I'll take Nevada and the mountains - always scenic, with numerous passes topping 5000' (I-80), allowing for those hundred-mile vistas that we flatlanders just don't get to enjoy. And the desert in general has a stark beauty, the land stripped of most of his flora, exposing the living rock beneath.

Rows of crops? I'll pass. I live amidst agricultural fields. There useful and I'm glad they're their - but they're not even remotely natural, and interesting scenery they aren't.
