I am thinking about moving back to NE from Ohio to attend Peru State College. Does anyone know from experience if this is a good college or not? I was thinking of picking this college because they have flat rate tuition. I am not sure if I can still get in state tuition in Nebraska since I haven't lived there since 2010. But I was born in NE and lived there most my life, and graduated HS there so hopefully they would accept me as an in-stater. My next question is how is the job market in Auburn and Nebraska City? Who are the major employers there and are there any entry level 2nd shift jobs around, like warehouses or production plants?

Something that might work for you is to get a job with the Department of Corrections at Tecumseh and do the 32? mile commute to class and work. I believe it would take six months to re-establish your Nebraska residency, I'm not sure so check it out. The Tecumseh State Prison is a maximum security facility. If you are just out of High School it is a job I would not recommend to anyon3e but if you are mature enough to handle it it offers some advantages: tuition assistance etc. There have been labor issues lately (forced overtime being one of them) but the money and benefits are decent.

I know several graduates of PSC and they stack up fairly well against most colleges. It will depend a lot on your field of study.
