Go Nebraska,

I love your photos. It's obvious you are an animal lover like me. Your black lab looks just like my Rosie girl!

Me too! My only regret is that I didn't get out to the Sandhills. But in my defense it is basically a state away.
(I was not thrilled with the number of ticks in my country treks tho)

How are the Sandhills "a state away" from Omaha?

By what standard are we defining "state?"

Wind towers south of Ainsworth.

Johnston main street.

Waiting to be used again, old piece of machinery abandaned on the ranch.

Once numerous on the plains of Nebraska now you can still find small herds on ranches and reserves.

The old dodge truck.

Mother nature struck back along the Elkhorn.

Water, water, everywhere.

For Sale, camper with running water.

The Elkhorn rearranging its channels and banks.

We drove from Denver to Arthur and entered Nebraska on Highway 138 (mostly photographed through the car windscreen)

Big Springs

By Highway 30

Brule

Stopped in Ogallala. I was looking forward to seeing Front Street but was so disappointed to find that all these buildings are, apparently, concrete breeze blocks behind the wood frontages.
