I am moving from Omaha to Miami and I am looking for a freigth or courier reliable company to send my belongings. Any help will be appreciatte.

When my family moved from St. Louis to Omaha, they used U-Haul. I would do a google search for "free moving estimates" or something to see which company gives the best rate. Most companies have some form of insurance that insures your stuff will be safe.

We used a moving company for the 1st time in our lives when we moved TO Nebraska from SC; Uhaul was impractical for moving over 13,000 lbs of housewares, over 1700 miles, with a disabled hubby. Allied came in, did a binding estimate that held them to a price (they severely underestimated, as they found out later when they weighed the truck!), and we could set our delivery date out a little to accommodate our time frame. We were in daily touch with the driver, they came in, packed everything, loaded everything, and unloaded at the NE house on the date we said, even putting things in the shops, garage, upstairs and in the basement - all for the stated price. If there had been any problems, Allied even has storage in major cities where you can pay to have your goods stored for a month or more if there are problems.

We've moved from NC to Miami and back again twice. Paul Arpin movers were great. In Omaha you'll have companies who do military moves. Check with several companies and see who has experience doing military moves. I know everybody has heard horror stories about military moves but they are the exception rather than the rule.
