Rosenblatt during the CWS (better hurry on that one)
Memorial Stadium on game day (even if you don't like football or care for Nebraska, it is an experience I've heard many say they were glad they saw/fealt/heard)

I like the zoo, Chimney Rock and Scottsbluff National Monument. Also the Arch near Kearney, so many people give it a bad rap, but it is worth checking out.

A couple others are Crescent Lake Wildlife Refuge and Chadron State Park.

Well, it's way out in the boonies (in the sandhills). . . Seriously, though, it was a drive we used to love to take every spring when the birds were migrating. It was just amazing all the different kinds you'd see, including lots of Canada geese, Sandhill cranes (and sometimes a few whoopers), pelicans, egrets, etc. You might meet one other car the whole drive. I guess it was just very peaceful and relaxing. . . . Something that sounds really nice right now after several years of dealing with traffic on the I-17 through AZ.
