We are moving to Lincoln, and I'm looking for a place to live. We need a 2 bedroom, and we have two large (very well behaved) dogs. They are both Boxers, so they're not on the aggressive dog list. I've only found a couple places, all which do not come recommended and have really bad reviews. Is it going to be possible to find a nice, quite place that allows our dogs? I also have a 11 month old daughter, so safety is an issue.

Well, we can't spend a ton at first. I'd like to find something under $700 per month. After we get settled, and my husband (who is self employed) starts to find work we could afford more.

Thanks, I found that site from the Lincoln Journal Star. From that resource I found one place on Orchard Street that will accept large dogs. Everyone else has a weight limit, only accepts one pet, or the rent is just too high for us to afford. I'm making a trip up there this Thursday for a job interview, and hopefully I'll be able to get a tour. I have to call that morning, for some reason they couldn't schedule it in advance.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that we don't mind living outside of town. I'm sure there are little communities on the outskirts of town. We'd prefer north of town, as long as it's within a 20 minute drive.
