My husband will be working at Cooper Nuclear Power Plant from April to November. Any suggestions for places to stay? We are in our 50s/60s. Any leads for people to contact would be helpful.

Auburn, NE is only about 15 minutes from Cooper. It's a small town, population approximately 2500, but does have rental properties, houses and apartments, that are available to rent. I'm from Auburn and know that with April being so close around the corner many rental properties may already be snatched up -- due to Cooper. American Dream Real Estate, Bernards, Dick Stich, can all be contacted in regards to rental properties. Good Luck.

I will be working at Cooper Power Plant in Brownville, NE for 7 weeks. I'm trying to find a hotel or somewhere to stay. Can anyone give me hotel names or somewhere I can check in to? I want to save as much money as I can.

I lived in a basement apartment in Auburn during the '87 & '88 Maintenance & Refueling outages at Cooper. I spent the weekends in Omaha.
