No, just keep your head coach off the sidelines and sitting in a booth making few game time decisions. It worked for Jerry Kill and the Gophers.

I think so. He has shown an inability to improve this team. The lack of fundamentals and the inability to make adjustments combined with bad decision making will prevent this team from improving. In some ways, the team is getting worse. The worst part are those HUGE losses that they suffer in these nationally televised games.

Yes, it pretty much all comes down to wins and losses. Pelini won at least nine games in each of his first five seasons (three of which were ten win seasons). For perspective, there's still a lot of schools that have never had a single ten win season in their entire history. We won't find a better coach if we run Pelini out of town for winning eight or nine games this year. Let's face it, we live in a cold weather, low population state. It's hard to recruit here. It's harder to be dominant with 85-scholarship restrictions that have increased parity in college football. We need to keep our expectations realistic. Sadly, I doubt we'll ever see a repeat of that 94-97 run, but there's still a lot the team can accomplish this November.
