Hi People
Just wanted to ask a question about costs of living in Nevada, some where around Stateline, Zephyr Cove, Indian Hills etc.
What would you consider as a good salary there?
If you earn this "good salary" what can you afford?
(I understand that these are very general questions, just want to compare Nevada with my place)

depends on the job. btw there are very few if any jobs in N. NV a lot of jobs are min wage btw its a rite to work state. and a rite to rent/live state.

depends on the house... your questions are vague. If you are not sure of the house then I would call a RE Broker and ask them if they have any info on it.
again regarding salary depends on the job. are you going to be working as a Doctor or at a fast food joint the pay scale is different. Again the job market here is the worst in the country.
how many people are in your party? is it just you or a family of #? There are people who live in N. NV on a very low salary an do well.
s per food depends on the persons lifestyle and appetite? i would say on average $40-$60 would be average per week for two adults. I grade that on the fact that you an the other person are in GREAT shape and eat healthy
if you can give more info as to what your career is and how many people you are looking to support and you social lifestyle we can give you better info.
What do you consider a comfortable life?..........that can also vary.

The Cost of living in ALL of Nevada is exactly the same for everyone.....ALL you make.
No matter where you live, you will adapt to what is available job-wise, housing-wise etc.......

I disagree... NV is very inexpensive state to live in. then again I do very well financially.

We live in Indian Hills and rent a nice 3bd/2ba house next to a great park for $899/mo. Groceries here cost us maybe $300/mo. for two adults. Electric and gas are maybe $150, water is $30, Internet is $50.
