Does anyone have any information good or bad regarding the new truss plant located in Silver Springs. I am considering relocating to this area from Fl.and would like to get an idea of what folks that live in the area think of them.

Thanks for your help.

One of the truss plants in Mesquite NV is operated by polygamists . . "not that there's anything wrong with that". But if it matters to you, might be worth a little due diligence to determine what the plant affiliations are (I don't have a clue).

Tortoise,

Thanks for the input. My interest is only on a professional level though.
I am just trying to get a feel for the area. It's been a long time since I have been out there and I am sure things have changed a lot.

Thanks again

I have seen Silver Springs and the place is a dump. A gas station/store, a dumpy motel, a small casino and trailers all over the place. Check out Fernley to the north - a short commute if your're going to be working in SS.
