Hummm,

No media bias there. He starts out by criticizing the governer on a number of fronts not related to Tahoe or the fire and then has the audacity to use this phrase "nonpartisan League of Conservation Voters".

He solidifies my opinion of him as a low-rent reporter by also admitting that he wasn't present in the meeting that he was reporting on. Surely the Reno Gazette/Journal can do better than this.

He isn't a reporter, he is a columnist, also a highly decorated Vietnam Vet. Which really upsets the rightwingers who desire to attack him.

You may remember that the now fully disgraced John Kerry was also a "highly decorated Vietnam Vet." And I'm not upset at all.

Please don't act like idiots, Cory Farley has been a columnist for the Reno Kazoo for many years. Columnist write opinions.

Your remark about Kerry indicates that in your world opinion trumps facts, so I have no idea why you would concern yourself with Farley.

Takes a right wing dingbat to dare disgrace an honest American war hero for partisan purposes.

The disgrace lies with the Pres and his party about to be replaced.

Kudos Ole Capt. All your sins are forgiven. It is beyond belief that a man who volunteered for Vietnam and served in harms way is denigrated in favor of not only a presidential draft dodger, but an entire administration of draft dodgers backed up by draft dodging radio talk show hosts

I knew it was a bad idea to start talking about politics. I must take credit for the posting of noenures (supposed to be neonnurse) as my wife had logged on that way at our home PC.

This log speaks volumes of how people with similar interests (geography; the great southwestern outdoos, etc) can be so divided when it comes to politics. We unfortunately have two different Americas.

In addition, I stand by my comments here and will refrain from personally attacking my fellow posters.

No, but we should invade California and make them pay for what they've done to ruin Nevada. I'm sure we'd find allies in other states where they've done the same thing.
