I should have said Lower Basin to be specific

AZ I entitled to 38%

CA is entitled to 59%

Does this make sense, taking population into account, or do you think this is completely outdated and that NV should get more than 4%?

You should just be glad we Arizonans with our big hearts let you have that much. You only have like 100 miles of river frontage, and half of one dam. While AZ has half of all four dams, and about 80% of the river runs through our state. Plus we outnumber you. So

CA shouldn't get any of our water. That's just ridiculous. Their state barely borders the river for 100 miles too. I say cork the pipe and let 'em drink dust!

But you get the last laugh, since Las Vegas dumps something like 2 billion gallons of treated sewage water a year into Lake Mead. Perhaps it will bring you some solace to know that everyone in Phoenix and LA is drinking from your toilet!

Fair?

A Fair is a place farmers take their prized tomatoes and pigs.

I remember learning somewhere that Nevada traded alot of water rights for the electricity generated by the Hoover Dam to power the Vegas Strip...this was waaayyy back when....now water is probably worth more than the electricity!!

Mexico/Baja (including Tijuana/Mexicali) also receive 1.5 million sq. acres of water as well. When Chandler owned a huge ranch west of Yuma, in Baja, when the dam was to built, he made sure Mexico (his huge ranch) received its share of water. Sometimes, in the past, NV has bought water from Mexico.

Also remember that the Native American Indians of AZ get a nice slice of that water, something like 1.1 million sq. feet of water.
