So we are thinking of going with a home we found in Newfields. Great place. Everything we needed and most everything we wanted too. Great schools too. Can anyone give me an idea of local things to do though?

Newfields is a very small town, with limited community activities...however

The Rockingham recreational trail runs through town which is great for walking, MTN biking, etc.
Newfields is on the river, with direct access to Great Bay, great for kayaking, boating
Newfields also boarders Exeter and Newmarket - both towns have downtowns with restaurants, etc.
You have easy access to Portsmouth & the beach via either 101/95 or 108
You are close to Durham/Dover - lots of community activities

Love the General Store on 85. Great homemade sandwiches and soups.
