Hi,

My finace and I are home searching. We are considering moving to NH. We presently reside in Boston,MA. Can anyone please tell me what Milford, NH is like? If you are familiar with MA at all, which towns would you compare Milford,NH to? I also wanted to know how friendly and welcoming people in NH are. I read that the population is mostly caucasion, and afraid of how neighbors will be because we would be a minority in the area. Thanks in advance for your help.

Default Re: Relocating To Milford NH

HI, Welcome to NH
I think Milford is one of the nicest towns around here! Very old and has the New England atmosphere (festivals on the oval) and has interesting architecture as well as nice people. While NH is overwhelmingly caucasian, Milford is pretty close to Manchester and Nashua which are much more diverse. In any event, I can't imagine you will have a problem. Bear in mind the biggest drawback to Milford is the drive to the highway - that Route 101A can be brutal during certain times of the day!

Smile Thanks Cheryl

I've been reading a lot of great things about NH. I guess my biggest fear is (probably like many others) is my neighbors. Thanks for your response.
