I've heard that the property taxes are quite high in Dover.

Also, as a born-n-bred local, I wouldn't say that it has a small town feel. It's the big city for us.

Yeah, I think they're high everywhere now. No sales/income tax - the city/state needs to get money somehow now due all the foreclosures everywhere.... I think it's still cheaper here than all the taxes/high prices in MA...

As a local, you may be entirely correct. I'm a west-coast transplant so I do enjoy the 'small town' feel of Dover...
