Aptor, he is a very wealthy speculator/financier who promotes very liberal ideals/causes. He was instrumental in Hungary's transition from communism to a democratic state. He donates very large sums of money to causes he supports, such as defeating George W Bush last election, and Prop 19 in Cali.
He is quite a polarizing figure -- for most people that know of him, you either love him or hate him.
While George Soros being in NH is a sobering thought, I hope that our little state is of no real interest, and this is just a meeting ground. He has the money and power to make radical changes on a large scale.
For what it's worth though, I did agree with Prop 19, and also for medicinal use.

I have spent a good number of days there, and seen places in the building no tourist gets to see. I was on a const crew there before.
It would not surprise me to find a bunker under that place either. I don't know if there really is or not, but it wouldn't be a real shock to find one is.
