We are looking to take a drive and sample some of the loval goods at one of the many sugaring farms around NH. Looking for local baked goods, and goodies as well. We are in Londonderry but willing to make a trip out of it?
I heard you can get pancakes somewhere, to compliment the syrup any idea?
Hank Peterson's sugar house at 28 Peabody Row in Londonderry: Peterson’s Sugar House – Visit Londonderry. I stop by during the week to pick up maple syrup sold inside his front porch. He gave me and my family a tour spur of the moment a few years ago, not sure if he does that any time or not. I posted a video of Mr. Peterson a while back: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W55VPHe6Z7M
There is also Parker's Maple Barn in Mason, west of Nashua, an easy, pleasant drive, with a restaurant and gift shop: New Hampshire Maple Barn Syrup Products Rustic Cedar Furniture Swings Tables Chairs If you visit there, you might as well continue on to see Uncle Sam's House - it is only open for special tours, but it is still a cool thing to see if you're in the area. Try either the Rt 28 Roadhouse or Poor Boys Resturant along Rt 28 in North Londonderry for wonderful pancakes. Thank you for yor mention of Henry Peterson's.
