Hi everyone! Can you please give me your opinion and info on a break down/comparison of Concord vs Manchester.
Job Market
Crime
Housing prices
Cleanliness of city
Taxes
Police presence
Schools
Medical care/Hospitals
Please add what I may have missed in topics. We would not live right in either city, its more of the suburbs of one the two.So basically 10-20 mins away from either city. But I would likely work in Concord or Manchester.
We do have 2 young children.
Home price of 180-240,000 max, but we seek 2 acres.
I just moved to Bow which put me right between both cities with a great school system, awesome sports programs..& it has the country appeal as well. I love the location.

Reason: typo
I could be and hope I'm wrong, but others have told me that the Property taxes and home prices are a bit too high for our family.

Maybe worth looking for a deal in this market...I've seen some foreclosures & near empty developments out there in Bow.
I'm not too familiar with the other surrounding towns myself. I was wondering if you realize how close Manchester & Concord are to each other? To me, Concord almost seems like a suburb of Manchester. Manchester is more edgy, more crime, more diversity...it almost has a skyline. I like it...good vibe on Elm St. Concord has more of a small town city feel if that makes sense. Lots of police in Concord. It is a nice city too. greatkids.org rates schools all over the country.
Thank you for responding. In general which city has the jobs? Stronger job market? Concord or Manchester?
