I'm from Albuquerque. I don't know much about Socorro, except that it means "help" in Spanish. It is much smaller and quiet. Have you visited?

The sunshine can't be beat. My husband is from here in Utica, though, and after a while he had a hard time with the lack of moisture and green. I still miss the wide open spaces and sunsets.

How long would the train trip be from the Seacoast area to Boston? How much would fare run per day?

I have an MBA from the top rated school in FL, so living closer to the Boston area would be a great idea for me to maximize my career opportunities.

We moved to Dover several weeks ago from MA...and from Texas before that. I can tell you this: Dover is filled with some of the friendliest people I've come across in many years. I think you will love it here, we do already!
You might also look into Portland, ME area...it's kinda artsy/funky/hippie/laid back.
Wishing you the best of luck in your decision!

The MBTA operates trains to Newberry, MA. Tthere is a bus service available. I have no idea how much they charge. I suggest googling mass transit (MBTA ) and New hampshire.

I use a commercial bus service frm souhtern NH to Boston that currently costs $80 per week. That is a lot less than parking a car in Boston.
