Let's go for a ride shall we?

Today we are going to Quincy Bog in Rumney NH. We are going via routes 3, 106, back to 3, then onto Quincy road, past the Millennium covered bridge and onto Quincy Bog road.

But first some pics from Opechee Park on 106

Gentle giant in wood

Onto the bog...

Quincy Bog is a natural area with a trail loop of about a mile, it's an easy nature walk with points of interest for the naturalist or even amateur historian.

Much of this land used to be farm country, mainly for sheep herders ( why did I think of Charles just then? )
oh well...

Linda got this shot I call frozen dance

Back on Quincy road heading toward Rumney central we discovered this mini boulder field

man, you can almost see the tears

We topped off the day with a return visit to Hermanos in Concord NH

We usually get very good food at Hermanos and as usual the quality of taste was just fine, however we were a bit disappointed at the portions on this outing. We decided to split a rather expensive ($19.95 ) appetizer. for the money, saying it was skimpy would be polite. It was a chintzy helping of taquitos quesidillas and mini chimis, filled with mainly chips..not satisfactory for such a place at all.

Later.... CrazyDave

Really neat stuff up there in NH! We're hoping to visit in December as part of our "planning to move there" process.
