I wasn't going to do it this year, but I just can't help myself. Once again, the Londonderry High Schools Marching Lancer Band is in NYC, at this moment getting ready to line up and take their place in the nations oldest, the biggest, and the longest St. Patrick's Day Parade.

They're on the front page of the Union Leader online:

Does anyone know if they are in print as well?

Along with dozens of Drum & Bagpipe Groups, the Lancers will be marching and playing (of course...) Londonderry Air. The parade will be shown in a live webcast here, beginning just about 11:00.

Does anyone know about other St. Patrick's Day Parades in the area? Pictures/links please! I'm not Irish (or Scottish) but could listen to pipes all day long.... Oh, btw, the Lancers will also be taking part in the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Manchester, NH, next Sunday 3/25. Hope to see some of you there

Manchester's St. Patrick's day parade is next Sunday, the 25th. I heard on the radio that they have over 100 marching units signed up.
They have it the weekend after the real St. Patrick's day so that local bands (like the Londnderry band) can march at other parades like the NYC one or South Boston's.
Manchester's parade is down Elm St. It always goes from North to South.
