Well, wouldn't go quite that far. Though it is a good town. Lived in Windham for 14 years... has been overrun by Mass*****.... bailed when the concept of reckless excessive spending became the motto. To answer the question, maybe North Andover.
In terms of what? Average income of residents? Average home sale prices? Amenities such as shopping, conveniences? School district desirability? Access to highways/commuter options? There are many factors to consider....

No I was thinking by types of trees!
Actually not necessarily income/ home prices but neighborhood/ community feel.
Strictly by neighborhood/community feel? Admittedly, I'm most familiar with the cities & towns within (and just outside of) Essex County, so will limit my answer to towns of that area.
Considering first, Windham's infrastructure: Windham has only one main (arterial) road (Rte 111) where the majority of commercial/municipal complexes are located. The residential neighborhoods are found along the many collector roads (most notably, Rtes 128 and 111a, but also any of the 'yellow stripe roads' where traffic moves at a quick pace, generally no sidewalks except in certain neighborhoods). Comparable towns of Essex County... perhaps West Newbury comes the closest. Definitely a white-collar town, some very good parks/recreation, but no real town center. Boxford has similar features, but much more rural than either, with less commercial development. Would love to see more answers, including the types of trees most commonly found in each town. Kudos to you, THAT is the funniest response I've seen in ages

glad you saw my humor and thank you for your response!
Windham is a nice town. Strong youth sports. It is one of the nicest towns on that side of the river, along with Atkinson. West of the river, Bedford, Amherst, and Hollis are nice...
