Tarastromsgirl, more AMAZING pictures from you. We had incredible sunsets the last couple of days, and a HUGE rainbow on Thursday! (of course my camera was NOT with me!) but nothing tonight but clouds and rain. Thank you for sharing!!

Hopefully those closest to the coast will let us know how that area is. Rmcewan, how are things in Rye??

Well, we had some fun here on the Cape. I was out of power for almost 30 hours. Lost a couple of trees and lots of stuff blown around. My canoe was about 30 feet from where it started. It was cold, too. Around 40 deg. during the storm, so the rain was biting. The high wind recording in my town was 89 MPH. There are still people without power and its Tuesday. Right now its raining and the wind has picked up quite a bit. Just to add insult to injury!! Worst of all, I had to watch the Pats game at the in-laws!!

It's ok though. We New Englanders know how to handle Mother Nature!! Bring it on!!

Thank you all,for your wonderful replies! I am glad that you all ended up OK!

I think that BRYFRY on the CAPE experienced the worst part of it!

I am glad to hear that BRYFRY made the best out of a bad situation!
Good for you & your family! It sounds like you had fun, with the game & all!

Hopefully, no more storms like this one for 2007!
