Recently did a Northern New England trip, visiting friends in Limerick and Waterboro, ME. I was up there scouting jobs and living conditions, and I liked what I saw very much. There doesn't seem to be as much of a shortage of jobs as I've been hearing, and my friends up there have quite a high quality of life while living reasonably modestly and within their means. I've loved New England ever since I first lived there, and I can't wait to get back. Anyway, here are a few photos.

Driving up the highway into the White Mountains:

Getting higher up into the mountains:

Another one from the road, near Gorham. Can anyone tell me what those peaks are, specifically the one on the left?

Glen Ellis Falls:

More Glen Ellis Falls:

Detail shot of flowing water at the falls:

Had a great time up there. Went to see a friend of a friend up in Berlin, and did some hiking the White Mountains before going for dinner in North Conway. Then headed back east to Maine. I hope to be your neighbor very soon!

Question for ya if you don't mins sharing the info.
I'm planing to hear out for a drive down the Kangamagus Hwy with the family this Saturday to stop at several view areas to take some shots of the view and some family shots as well..
But I want to arrive at the high spot and slowly drive down the hwy..
My question is.. Which side is the hight spot, though Lincoln or Conway?

The high spot is in the middle of both locations.
