A few photos from Franconia Notch and the Mt. Washington Hotel taken last week:

And here's a photo I took shortly after takeoff of my flight from Manchester to LA:

That's the Connecticut River; NH is on the left, VT is on the right, and MA is the background (you can see the Quabbin Reservoir in the distance).

On the left side, you can see Spofford lake in Chesterfield; to the right, you can make out Wantastiquet Mountain across the river from Brattleboro, Vermont. In the foreground you can see Westmoreland on the NH side and Putney on the VT side.

Haha, I wish! It was just a family drive up into the mountains. I live in Bristol.

Unfortunately, I was only home for Spring Break - I go to school in Los Angeles. And I can't wait to get back to NH in May...

Those are some very nice pics Verseau, very sharp and clear--you could sell them as postcards! Looks like you're right along 93 near where The Old Man was? Maybe not...

And Boo! I would never in a million years think to take a picture of Sanborn's Fruit Slices, NEVER!! It's funny, that is exactly what they look like, but looking through your camera lens is like seeing them through new eyes Thank you for sharing. And I don't know what they're getting you for on the shipping, but if you ever want stuff shipped out, let me know. We have Fluff and I'm in Plaistow (where Sanborn's original store is) at least once every couple of weeks. Lemme know!!

Ok so the picture was taken in Maine but it's of NH. Mt. Washington last week on a perfect clear March day. You can just seen the top of the head walls of Tuckerman and Hunington Ravines to the left of the summit.
