I thought it was a fox, but your coyotes look different from what I'm used to

We had a pretty red fox that would sit and look at hubby at the farmhouse we rented

Wow JFR - beautiful lake! Well, we haven't really been affected by Fay yet, and now it looks like it's gonna mostly go north of us, so hopefully we'll come out unscathed! Feel sorry for the people in FL - saw on the weather that some of them got like 3 feet of rain. YIKES!! Thanks for sharing your gorgeous day with us, though - makes us long for NH!

Thanks for posting all those pics everyone! Welcome, Grouseking!
Ken, I just read that the eastern coyote can be double the size of the western coyote & more aggressive too...haven't seen a coyote in the year we've been here, and they visited us regularly out west.

I appreciate the "welcomes" everyone! I've been looking for a forum like this...glad I stumbled on it. Allright since I'm more awake tonight, I'm going to post a few more. Most of my pics are of scenery in the state, but I have a few of some small towns. Tonight, the theme will be small towns.

Where I grew up: Chester, NH A lot of these will be in winter, and prob be in the woods, because I hike.
