I like Mexican Lindo in Exeter. We've eaten there a couple times and we enjoyed the food.

The Common Man is a cut above the chains for sure.

I did not enjoy the Common Man in Merrimack. Is the one in Lincoln better? We'll be up there in a few weeks, that's why I'm curious.

They are all somewhat the same, though I have never went to the one in Merrimack. The one I go to is in Ashland. Never been up to the one in Lincoln, but I can't imagine that there are any big differences between the different locations. If you did not like the CM in Merrimack you might want to avoid them all together.

You should be able to get Common Man food at the Hooksett rest stops soon since the owner is funding the new buildings and will be putting in food courts.

I really enjoy the Common Man in Concord, but I wasn't thrilled by the one in Meredith, although the scenery was phenomenal. I haven't found any restaurants in NH I'd go stand in line to get into yet, though.

Lady fern....I drove by the construction this week and wondered what was going in there. The new rest stop buildings are huge!

Each location has its own menu and style inside, the menu does share recipes at various locations, but some items are unique to specific locations. They have different setups with couches and lounge chairs, bars, and dining areas.

The location in Plymouth is certainly unique. The college kids, design desserts and other recipes for them that constantly vary.

We've been very pleasantly surprised with the offerings at Johnson's Dairy Bar in Northwood. Great fish and chips, fried clams, steak tips and lobster rolls. And even though the Happy Family Chinese Restaurant in Epsom Circle isn't quite like Chinatown in Boston (only the owner is Chinese), I'm impressed that the vegetables in their dishes are still firm and never overcooked. That's good wok technique!
