Do you know about a great display in your area? With all of the recent snowfall, I'm looking forward to our annual "Christmas Light Night" when we pile in with hot cocoa and snacks, and go in search of the best displays.

Tell us where you've seen some great displays!!

Here's a link to one in Raymond that's on our list:

and this one at 75 Pelham Road in Hudson:

Some people really take it over the top--I think it's cool but don't know if I'd want to live across the street from them:

what a great idea! I like the display that Fiddler's Green (florist) on Old Auburn Road, Derry does each year. They do go over the top, they start setting up the display in August.

Unfortunately, they schedule a lighting on a friday night usually at 5 or 6PM during the first of the month. They never get a policeman to direct traffic and guess what! traffic jam!

It's a back road with no street lights. I was coming home from work one year and driving a huge suburban. I had to back up for a mile to get to another road to get home. I had a huge line of cars beeping horns in back of me and another line trying to get by from the other direction. Headache!

I filed a formal complaint that year and they currently hire police to direct traffic.

Every year, for as long as I can recall, the Phillips family has put out their impressive display of Christmas ornaments and holiday lights at their home, which is next to Tommy's Take-Out on Route 202 in Sanford, ME, (could be Lebanon) just across the NH border.

The family's Central Maine Power bill usually runs up to $1,800 during the weeks in which the display is lit. folks have come to see their lights from as far away as North Conway, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. There is even a helicopter lit up and suspended over all.

Fox news did a story on it one year.
