Are there any vocational/techical high schools in Southern NH? My daughter would like to get into culinary arts. We have two here on the Cape, which are very good, but I would like to know options in NH. We are looking to settle outside of Manchester, probably Bedford or Londonderry, if that helps with geographics.
Thanks, everyone.
Merry Christmas!

Manchester has a vo-tech high school near Memorial high school. There is a culinary division, mechanical and other courses offered.

I don't know if any other towns offer this service.

http://www.salemschooldistrictnh.com/schools/shs/voc.htm (broken link)

hey, it appears Salem has one as well, and I'm told that Dover does and there is one in the lakes region. Looks like you shouldn't have a problem.....

We live in Londonderry, and my daughter goes to Londonderry High www.londonderry.org which provides these tech programs from both Manchester Tech and Alvirne High School in Hudson. http://www.alvirnehs.org/?q=node/365 I think it depends on which courses are desired as to which school one would get into. My daughter gets bused over the Manchester Tech for Early Childhood Ed. They also have many other courses.

Well, actually I wouldn't mind clearing the drive, since I have a small skid steer with a four foot bucket loader. No sore back for me!! If we become neighbors, I'm buying the pints mate!! Cheers!!

Not bad at all. We had mostly rain the last storm, so a lot of the snow has melted. Still some icey spots on back roads, but mostly dry and in the 30's. Have a safe trip and a Merry Christmas!!
