What is the deal that the NAR doesn't even list New Hampshire? You guys should write them a letter and protest.

OR just put in: NAR home prices 2007 3rd quarter. Up will come a choice, choose pdf style and it should come up on your screen.

I don't get this...do you guys?

I've wondered this as well.

who calculates the median price of a house in the New England area? If only cheaper and smaller homes are selling instead of millionaires homes does this mean the market is falling?

or vice versa, if only millionaire homes were selling in NH - does this really mean the cost of housing is rising? or are the numbers skewed.

I will try some of the older NAR reports and see what I can find. Maybe earlier quarters this year?

From my realtor friends I would say that real estate prices are falling and will continue to do so for at least another year. Not a bad as some places but not a good time to "flip a house". Don’t ask me how I know. Please.

Tootsie, I'm not sure why NH is left off, but I do have an email in to find out why. However, you know what they say about statistics... Buck Naked asked who figures the median price: always always consider the source of info. Statistics generated by NAR won't show FSBO numbers. Numbers provided by county or state will be obtained from public records, and therefore will be more accurate.
