Bedford Village Inn would be the perfect choice. Someone mentioned the Copper Door, also in Bedford, but in my opinion, they are worlds apart. Yes, the food at Copper Door is expertly prepared, and it's a gorgeous restaurant (we love to eat out on the patio) but it's so big & open, a grand atmosphere visually and a lively place--not really a romantic spot, in my opinion. BVI on the other hand, is quaint and cozy. My favorite time of year to visit is December-it's exquisitely decorated, complete with fireplaces aglow (not sure if they are still wood-burning or not...)
