No reason a law-abiding person should need a permit. They would qualify statutorily anyway. And it is already illegal for a felon to possess or carry a firearm anyway. So if a criminal is carrying, they could be charged with a crime.

Again you show your lack of understanding of constitutional carry. Unauthorized carry is STILL illegal for individuals that wouldn't be able to get a CC license under the old system. It would only be legal for those that would have qualified under the current license system. You're suggesting nothing more than restricting the rights of law abiding individuals to make yourself feel better, it certainly will have no effect on criminals.
