We live in Antrim, which borders on Deering, and had some friends who used to live there. It is very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful, but not much to do, except go to the General Store and get an ice cream, go swimming in the lake, or hiking and biking... But if you like life's simple pleasures it could be the place! It's about 1/2 hour to Concord, for shopping and entertainment. Not sure on the taxes, but think they are fairly average. All in all, a very nice little town with a historic colonial feel to it.
This great response....thank you for taking time and effort and we
really appreciate...this is data we were hoping for....I would adore
a trip to the general store, ice cream and the lake...could not begin
to ask for more in the process of late, very late, in life...a hard
move with the years but the info was grand......if you could write
more I would love.....Great Job and personal thanks....Grace
