TO be fair, what you're discussing is merely localized politics.
It is, but it has nothing to do with the recent election or candidates. People start yammering about Trump and Clinton, the inevitable bashing ensues, then the thread gets locked.
As I was watching the comments before the vote I was amazed at the Oppositions complete lack of understanding about what this Bill was about and what the results would be. Complete cluelessness would be a polite description.
Freedom scares people, and their reaction to the thought of it is often an emotional one rather than a rational one.
