We are relocating this summer to Dover. We will make some house hunting trips between now and then but will not be completely relocated until July 1. I know that here in CT we are already regeistering for September for preschool. I am worried about missing out. Any advice? I will check some out when I visit this spring but feel like I won't get a really good idea about how they are.

Thanks for any help.

We are on the seacoast and registered my son in Jan for this Sept. I would start your search asap. Good luck!

Where are you moving and where are you working - to narrow down or expand search area outside of Dover? Are you looking for just preschool or daycare too? Age? And yes, most took registration in January for next year.

Default Thanks

Hi everyone thanks for the posts.

I think we are actually moving to Exeter now and not Dover. It makes more sense for my husband's job.

I think I am just going to start calling some preschools today and see what they say.

Thanks you input.

If you'll be in Exeter, I have lots of ideas, as that's where we are and I also have young kiddos. PM me for more info. Here are a few to start with good reputations for preschool: Exeter Day School, Acorn (stratham), Great Bay Kids (exeter), a few others in Hampton too.

This is the BEST thing about this forum, imo. Somebody moving to the area has made a valuable contact, with at least one thing in common. I wish something like this had existed when we moved half way across the country...
